It is very rare for rural communities and summer villages to have municipal water services. Did you know it costs $8,000 to $12,000 to have a well put in? And not only the that but you are constantly dealing with the hassles related to well water like ‘smelly’ water and maintenance of filtration systems. Water at the Estates At Waters Edge is treated in our on-site provincially licensed and monitored water treatment plant. (Water is included in the monthly condo fee).

2. Homes at Waters Edge have a hassle free septic system.
Did you know it can cost between $5,000 and $9,000 to put in a septic tank and it costs $150 to $250 to pump it out each time. The average vacation home owner would have to pump out their septic tank once or twice a month, and the average full time resident would have to pump out their tank weekly. Not only that but you have to deal with worrying about coordinating the septic vacuum company and maintaining the tank. (All septic costs are is included in the monthly condo fee).

3. Waters Edge property management maintains the piers.
Did you know a small pier system of the same quality as the ‘flo’ system at Waters Edge costs for an average cabin about $10,000. At waters edge the property management team puts the pier in the lake in the spring and takes it out in the fall – so you don’t have to worry with taking your pier in and out. As well, you don’t have to deal with the hassle of obtaining permits and maintaining the pier throughout the seasons and over the years. (Pier maintenance is included in the monthly $120 condo fee. Boat slip rental is collected and includes reserve fund to provide for pier replacement).
